Serial presidential Spokesman, Doyin Okupe has died, aged 72.
Okupe, a medical Doctor who became famous, first as the spokesman of the defunct National Republican Convention NRC and later as spokesman of President Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan has been in and out of hospital recently.
Before his recent switch to the political camp of President Bola Tinubu, Okupe was the Director General of Peter Obi campaign organisation in the run up to the 2023 presidential election.
He was forced to resigne after being convicted of money laundering charges.
