Veritas University hosts proprietors of private secondary schools in Abuja

The meeting will focus on exploring Veritas University's facilities and offerings for the benefit of private secondary school proprietors in Abuja

Proprietors of Private Secondary schools in Abuja will converge on Veritas University, Bwari-Abuja for their annual general meeting on Tuesday, 9th October, 2024.

Chairman of the Admissions Committee of Veritas University, Rev. Fr. Dr Peter Bakwaph informed the Whalitewater Digest that the decision to host the proprietors of Private secondary schools by Veritas was borne out of the desire to expose proprietors to the facilities available at the University.

“We want the proprietors to have first hand information on what Veritas can offer in terms of facilities and faculties. It is a privilege for us to host this August gathering” he said.

Dr Bakwaph who is also the dean of the Faculty of Education noted that Veritas University is proud to host the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS) Abuja Chapter’s annual general meeting.

“Hosting this meeting will help advertise our university to prospective candidates from these schools” he said.

Vice Chancellor of Veritas University, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Ichoku said the decision by the proprietors of Private secondary schools in Abuja to hold their Annual meeting in Veritas University was a validation of the rising profile of the school.

“I am excited to host them. It shows how high they hold us in their estimation” he said.
