Prominent Tiv political elites, religious and other leaders are meeting in GBOKO at the palace of the Tiv King, Tor Tiv to take a position on the ongoing killings in Benue state by suspected Fulani herdsmen.

The Tiv leaders attending the meeting include the governor Rev. Fr Hyacinth Alia, the immediate past governor, Samuel Ortom, senator Gabriel Suswam as well as all Tiv members of the National Assembly and the state House of Assembly.
