The governor of Katsina state, Mallam Dikko Umaru Radda has vowed that his government will not relent in providing the security agencies with all necessary support until peace is fully restored in the state.
He stated this in Katsina in response to the positive commendation of his efforts by President Bola Tinubu at the second Edition of the National Economic Council Meeting in Abuja.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had at the Council Meeting singled out the governors of Katsina, Kaduna and Borno for commendation for their efforts in defending the nation’s freedom, liberty, and commonwealth.
The President also commended the Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno and Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna States for their determined efforts in tackling insecurity in their respective domains.
Reacting to the commendation, Governor Radda expressed deep appreciation to President Tinubu for the recognition, attributing the progress to effective teamwork and the unwavering support of the people of Katsina State.
“This recognition belongs to the people of Katsina State and our gallant security agencies who have stood firm in the face of adversity. We are making progress because we are working together,” Radda said.
The Governor vowed not to rest on his oars until insecurity is completely eradicated from the state.
“We will not relent. We will not be distracted. We will continue to support our security forces with everything they need until peace is fully restored to every corner of Katsina,” he pledged.
The Governor assured that his government would sustain the momentum until total peace is achieved.
