Suspended Alia’s aide granted N30Million Bail.
The Suspended Special Advisor Adviser to governor Hyacinth Alia on Documentation, Mkor Aondona has been granted a bail in the sun of N30Million by the Federal Court sitting in Lafia.
The Makurdi Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, arraigned Mkor on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, on a five count charges at the Federal High Court sitting in Lafia.
The Commission had arrested Mkor for alleged sextortion and cyber bullying on Friday June 20, 2025, in Makurdi, following claims by some female students who accused him of unethical and criminal behavior involving sexual exploitation, cyber bullying and blackmail.
The court granted him bail in the sum of N30 million and two surety who must have a Landed property. The surety must have a tax payment for 3 years.
The case was adjourned to October 13, 2025 for continuation of trial.
