The governor of Taraba State, Agbu Kefas has won the gubernatorial ticket of the All Progressive Congress (APC), polling 166,375 votes to defeat former Minister of Transport, Mu’azu Jaji Sambo who gathered 4110 votes.

Speaking shortly after he was declared winner, Kefas dedicated his voctory members of the Party in the state.

He extended an olive branch to his fellow contenders, urging them to join him to build a better Taraba as he seeks a reelection.

The governor said the task ahead is bigger than individual ambition, and called for unity of purpose among all party faithful to secure a resounding victory for the party both at the national and state level.

Kefas pledged to provide the right leadership to move the state forward.
