The President of the United States of America, Donald Trump has said the ISIS Terrorists Number two person, Abu-Bilal al Minuki has been killed in Nigeria in a joint operation carried out by America Soldiers and their Nigerian counterpart.

In a post on Truth Social, Donald Trump said the operation was carried out ‘at’ his direction and has put paid to the terrorist group’s capacity to plan attacks on the United states or its allies.

The United states President did not give an indication on where the attack took place or how many other terrorists were killed.

“Tonight, at my direction, brave American forces and the Armed Forces of Nigeria flawlessly executed a meticulously planned and very complex mission to eliminate the most active terrorist in the world from the battlefield. Abu-Bilal al-Minuki, second in command of ISIS globally, thought he could hide in Africa, but little did he know we had sources who kept us informed on what he was doing. He will no longer terrorize the people of Africa, or help plan operations to target Americans. With his removal, ISIS’s global operation is greatly diminished. Thank you to the Government of Nigeria for your partnership on this operation. GOD BLESS AMERICA! President DONALD J. TRUMP” the post read.

This is the second time that the United states of America in collaboration with Nigeria troops is carrying out operation to take out terrorists in Nigeria.

On Christmas day in 2025, USA carried out a missile strike on terrorists camp in Sokoto killing several of them.

It will be recalled that there are about 200 American troops in Nigeria helping Nigerian troops fight terrorists.
