Be Wary of Transactional Politicians, Bwacha Warns Taraba Electorate

The 2023 governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Taraba State, Senator Emmanuel Bwacha, has warned the electorate to be wary of transactional politicians who he claims have begun mobilizing to buy votes ahead of the 2027 elections.

Senator Bwacha, who has rejoined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and is set to contest the governorship seat in 2027, urged voters to vote their conscience while advising them to collect the money offered to them by those attempting to influence their choice.

Speaking on his recent political realignment, Bwacha noted that his return to the PDP was intended to unify the party.

He claimed this move is already yielding positive results ahead of the next election cycle.

Reflecting on the 2023 elections, Bwacha attributed his previous performance to a lack of sufficient time to navigate the complex sentiments that followed his initial move to the APC.

He emphasized that his return to the PDP provides him with ample time for planning and consultation, expressing confidence that the dynamics which led to his loss in 2023 would not repeat themselves.

The former Senator also criticized the current state administration of dragging Taraba backward and leaving the state more indebted than ever before.

Bwacha maintained that his entry into the race is a quest to uphold righteousness, adding that he would not have bothered to run if the Governor Agbu Kefas administration had fulfilled the expectations of the citizens.

He further promised to make the youth the cornerstone of his government and pledged total inclusiveness for the younger generation if elected into office.
