A political organisation, the Taraba Tiv Youth Grassroots Mobilization for APGA, has declared its support for Hon. Danjuma Usman Shiddi, popularly known as Danji SS, endorsing him as its preferred candidate for the 2027 Taraba State governorship election.

The group also announced its total backing for all candidates flying the flag of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, across various elective seats in the state.

In a statement issued on Sunday in Jalingo by the Coordinator of the group, Comr. Muyee Mulega Ioreren, and read by Comr. Ephraim Tordue Kumaga, the organisation noted that the endorsement followed broad-based consultations with Tiv communities across the 16 local government areas of the state.

Ioreren stated that the decision was informed by Shiddi’s track record in leadership, integrity, grassroots connection, and sustained commitment to youth advancement and inclusive governance.

He said: “Hon. Danjuma Usman Shiddi is a leader with capacity, integrity, and a proven commitment to inclusive governance and youth development.

“We are committed to working tirelessly across all wards and voting units to mobilise massive grassroots support and votes for Danji SS and all APGA candidates come 2027.”

The group expressed optimism that Tiv youths and rural communities across Taraba would turn out en masse to participate actively in the electoral process to install a responsive, people-oriented administration.
